Pickled Red Radishes

i’m a little late on the persian new year wishes, but happy noruz nevertheless! i’ve been so busy this week that i’ve neglected my blog (again).
but i have been cooking:

Crab and Corn Chowder

i’m more than ready for spring and summer to come around; aside from the sunny weather, i’ve got the warmer months’ fruit and vegetable bounties to look forward too. i miss okra, i miss sugar snap peas, i miss shahtoot and i miss chaghalehbadoom! i’ve been making do without them though:

Babak and Elham’s Aghd

last weekend was my cousin’s wedding. the aghd part of it, that is. the aroosi part isn’t for another month. it was a blast. everyone had a fantastic time, and even though my feet were aching by the end of the night, it was certainly worth it.
