anyone who knows me knows of my affinity for korean cuisine. and of my affinity for kimchi. and more specifically, my affinity for all things banchan. i can think of nothing better than an array of small plates to complement a plate of bulgogi or japchae.

it’s been a whirlwind week. in between relatives visiting, thanksgiving on thursday, wine tasting on friday, and the races and a birthday party on saturday, i’ve had my hands full.

i feel like i haven’t been cooking enough asian food lately. not that i don’t enjoy non-asian cuisines, but i’m a bit partial to the freshness of east/southeast asia.
