Grilled Open-Face Eggplant and Gouda Sandwiches

and so the cold weather dishes begin. well, kind of. there’s still the last of the eggplant to be grilled. call these a transition:

the gouda didn't melt enough
grilled open-face eggplant and gouda sandwiches

kind of like french fries, but doughier
pommes de terre lotte

this was such a dissapointment
pastrami-cured gravlax

more vinegar next time
tangy swiss chard with carrots

  2. don’t worry; none of them were particularly make-again-worthy. it was one of *those* cooking weeks.
