nimeh ye penhaan
with the season coming to an end, i’ve been scrambling to make the most of the summer bounty. i’ve been sticking tomatoes in just about everything this week.

thai chicken curry

marinated tomato salad | sourdough crab and artichoke melt

venetian spaghetti with sardines | grilled portabellas with sopressata stuffing
i just saw the girl in the sneakers and hidden half. both were good, but the latter had a fantastic plot. tamineh milani never disappoints me. and i finally got around to seeing veer-zara. pluses: shahrukh khan, heart-wrenching romance of the kind we only read about, multiculturalism and a message of peace between nations. minuses: too many cheesy musical numbers and bollywood has the “cast only stars that are far more lightskinned than the average indian and pakistani” syndrome. (iranian cinema can be guilty of this as well.) still, i enjoyed it.
YO!!! the thai curry chicken!!! my mouth is watering…
hidden half sounds like a very cool movie. i might have to check it out.
(btw… the rest of the food looks great as always
plz make the open face crap melt again. do it do it
