i’ve been cooking. last friday i made the following:

insalata caprese


macaroni and cheese with crumb topping | chicken marsala

on monday night i gave turkish and moroccan cuisine a try. i wasn’t crazy about how it turned out but the family seemed to like it:

garlicky eggplant and tomatoes | circassian chicken


green onion and tomato bulgur salad


persian-italian fusion: minted cantaloupe with vanilla granita and citrus yogurt

for tuesday evening i made okra and tomato stew with whole-wheat couscous:

and finally, on wednesday, i tried japanese fusion:


nori-crusted sirloin with shiitake mushrooms (homina homina homina)

  1. DAMN!!!!! that’s alot of food! hahahaha… the “persian-italian fusion” of minted cantaloupe with vanilla granita and citrus yogurt looks really good right now! as does the chicken marsala and the circassian chicken…

    i miss your cooking/our group’s cooking (mis)adventures… :(
